Touch Hear is a futuristic concept developed by the Design Incubation Center, that would probably make pocket dictionaries a thing of the past. By touching a word or phrase in a particular piece of reading material, the user will be able to listen to its related information, like its pronunciation or its meaning. Totally useful whether you’re reading in your native language or learning a foreign language.
how would that even work.
Censors detect the ink layout of the page, essentially reading the word. Then, the information is sent to a database and the “search” results are transmitted to your ear piece, which in turn gives you the information about the word you hovered. It’s quite basic, really. I can grasp that much just by looking at it.
Never heard of Nanotechnology before, eh? I guess there’s a first time for everything.
